Dunno what exactly Lantastic might be.  (Pardon my ignorance, i
haven't been working with DOS for years now.)

The only way i could think about is to setup Samba on your Unix
machine, and use a DOS client that runs SMB over IP.  (Most likely
this is not what Lantastic does, and the unfortunate side-effect is
that the LAN drivers will eat up memory.)
