So now Win95 is happy with the CDROM at the address where FreeBSD wants to see it during the install. So I reset the adaptec for that address and did a complete re-install of FreeBSD 2.1 from the CDROM. All went fine; cd0 was detected and the install went smoothly. The strange thing is that now when I boot from the same boot floppy, the system can't see the CDROM. Even if I try to run /stand/sysinstall, the cdrom is still not detected. It seems odd that after a successful install from CDROM using that boot floppy, that now the same boot floppy can't see the CDROM. Does anyone have a clue what might be going on here?
