I am trying to build a sendmail.cf file of my own (using md4 on FreeBSD). I am having two problems. One is with .BITNET pseudo-domain. For whatever reason, it's mail goes to my provider's mail-server, from where it bounces back. There is not a word about my provider's machine anywhere in the sendmail.cf... Another thing is, I can not make it parse mymachine!user properly -- the _local_ mailer is called with the full `mymachine!user' instead of just `user', as happens if the address is in form of user@mymachine. Local mailer (procmail or mail.local failes, and mail bounces). Thanks for any hints! -mi -- "Windows for dummies"
