Remember the Dilbert comic where Wally complains to the boss that he's got an old 286 but the boss has a Sparcstation yet only know how to look at the screensaver? Well, that situation's very true ... my bosses here have HP J and K series workstations yet on my desk all I have is an HP 715. Guess where I'm going to rlogin to do my number crunching. :-) So, no, not everyone has a single user box in the office these days. -- Sean Kelly NOAA Forecast Systems Laboratory kelly@fsl.noaa.gov Boulder Colorado USA http://www-sdd.fsl.noaa.gov/~kelly/
