There is a port for 3.4f in 2.1.0, so you can just grab it off the CD
or use the ports facility to FTP it down and compile it in one fell
swoop.

Anyway, it's at

ftp://avahi.inria.fr/pub/xpm/

according to the Makefile.

As the port in -current is also of 3.4f, you could always drop a note
to freebsd-ports@freebsd.org and politely ask if anyone is working on
upgrading the port 8-)
