I've managed to get a reply from the NetBSD-i386 mailing list (thanks
btw): the 2940 card I have has a different product number to that
compiled into the 1.1 kernel. It is apparently fixed in 1.2 due out
in a few weeks. There is a fix available in the 1.1 kernel: consult
the mailing list archives.

Thanks everyone,

Julian.
