They're old versions of the shared libraries from the 1.x and 2.0
releases of FreeBSD. You only need them if you have an old
dynamically-linked binary you want to run under 2.1.0.

To install these or any other distribution from the CDROM, do
something like

# mount /cdrom
# cd /
# cat /cdrom/dists/foo/foo.* | tar xzvf -
# umount /cdrom

(It's wise to try it first with 'tvzf' as the options to tar, to make
sure the files go where you think they are going 8-)

They're in compat1x and compat20.
