You can get pnews from http://www.holli.com/~jbuchana/computer.html pnews is still alpha, but it seems to work pretty well for most people now. I released v0.11 about 6 weeks ago and I'm starting to get into the moood to make some improvements. You can get suck from sunsite (or a mirror) in the system/Mail/news directory. You'll need access to an NNTP server to use suck. For mail, I just use popclient, which came with my slackware distribution. You'll need access to a POP server to use popclient. Pretty standard from most ISP's.
