Interesting how a configuration problem can affect only one program. Word
crashes occasionally on my system, but the crashes seem unrelated to the
mouse. Actually, to clarify, there were only a few crashes that occured
durring mouse movement. It's possible that VB had already trashed it's
memory and that the mouse movement just put it over the edge.

I don't care whether or not others use VB (unless it is to write software
that I will be forced to use). You can bet, however, that I'm not going to
touch it again. VB is a classic example of Microsoft releasing a product
*long* before it is ready.
