What >command should I use? The commands involved are disklabel and newfs, but a much simpler way is to boot the installation disk and use the visual editors there. Use the 'w' command to write the changes to disk (when it asks you if you know what you're doing, say yes!) and then quit the installation before it starts installing anything.
