I just bought an altima virage notebook.. (basically the same thing as a patriot 4000..) Superprobe reported the following information: First video: Super-VGA Chipset: WD/Paradise 90C24 Memory: 512 kbytes RAMDAC: Generic 8-bit pseudo-color DAC SO.. I fire up xf86config, select the WD/Paradise 90C24 chipset w/ the XF86_SVGA server and *KABOOM* :screen draws really funny lines, and I have to reboot to fix the video. Is there a known problem with this driver? problems with the chipset? ANY suggestions at all would be *GREATLY* appreciated. --Ben (seventek@best.com)
