Ok I admit Im a newbie (going on 3 months of FREEBSD experience w/o any
prior unix) and Ive done the following things to get my machine, slug, to
act as an NFS server

1. Modified /etc/exports to include a line

/usr -alldirs slug.ceca.utc.edu

2. Ran mountd as root

slug shows up as a host, but when I try to login using my name and password, it
says unknown user...Ive tried root and its password and still no
luck..What Am I doing wrong?
