I would like to automount logatome.francenet.fr:/local on epiphore.francenet.fr/mnt/local. On NFS server logatome.francenet.fr, I put in /etc/exports : /local -maproot=0 -alldirs epiphore.francenet.fr On NFS client epiphore.francenet.fr, I create the map file /etc/amd/auto.direct : /defaults opts:=soft,rw,grpid,intr,nosuid local -type:=nfs;rhost:=logatome.francenet.fr;rfs:=/local Then I type amd /mnt /etc/amd/auto.direct -type:=direct which says : Jun 6 17:28:24 epiphore amd[10985]/info: file server localhost type local starts up Jun 6 17:28:24 epiphore amd[10986]/info: 41 [17:28] root@epiphore:/etc/amd# defeating nfs window computation Jun 6 17:28:24 epiphore amd[10985]/info: auto.direct mounted fstype direct on /mnt When I tried 'cd /mnt; ls', I get "Stale NFS file handle". What is wrong here ? Thanks in advance for your help. Gildas. -- Gildas PERROT, perrot@francenet.fr __o FranceNet, 28 rue Desaix, 75015 Paris ---_ \<,_ ---- (_)/ (_)
