Anyway, the simplest way is to boot off the install disk, and use the nice friendly visual editors in the install program to set the disk up. When you're sure you've got it right, press 'w' to write the changes to disk and answer "Yes" when it asks you if you really know what you're doing. (You'll need to do this for both the slice and the partition editors). Then exit the installation, preferably before it starts actually installing anything!
