That is, you've got it working?

I still didn't.  We've got a new TI notebook in the company, and i
still don't seem to be able to convince it of using the correct
display size (and perhaps dot clock).  The point with all LCD displays
is that you can't select arbitrary display sizes but are stuck with
the native one.  Thus, failure to select the right mode is usually
catastrophic, and leaves the display in a weird state (totally out of
sync).  The only chance is to reboot, and this makes experimenting a
bit hard.
