If the only concern is to allow for mail addresses à la ``foo@artbbs.com'', it's better to use: artbbs.com. IN MX 10 parker in the zone file instead. (Note the trailing dot!) Of course, neither of the mentioned solutions will make the sendmail on parker immediately recognize mail for all the aliases.
