Start with the various packages available in the distribution and use pkg_add. I also suggest you read the FAQ and the Handbook about the various partas of FreeBSD, and especially look at the Index in the packages directory of the ftp site where you picked up the files. Where can I find information on > configuring things like this? Make sure all of your local machines are defined in /etc/hosts, and comment out the bind line in /etc/host.conf. I'm sure there's more that I didn't think of, but this should get you started. Ken
