This article was interesting reading. Thanks for pointing it out.
I probably would have missed it otherwise.

The problems and solutions that they describe are interestingly
similar to the series of problems with TCP that I discovered and
fixed during the Linux 1.3.X development cycle.

There are also some issues that they mention that we should defintely
keep in mind for future development. In particular, the problems
that they had with caching the previous RTT in the routing table
should be kept in mind when we get around to implementing this for Linux.
I'm going to save a copy of this article, and I'd recommend that the
other Linux networking developers do likewise.
