The kernel doesn't autodetect the IRQ setting, it simply echoes what
it has configured in it, and claims this being The Only Truth.  So a
successfully detected card does mean that the port address is okay,
and that the shared memory address is okay (for cards that support
shared mem), but it does _not_ mean the IRQ is really okay.
