My ISP upgraded to BSDI 2.1 & the uqwk stuff "went away." I bugged them for quite a while to re-install, but got no response. I finally FTPed uqwk 1.8 from ftp.gte.com with the intention of trying to install it in my own /bin/ directory. The problem with that of course is that I'm not knowledgeable enough to make whatever changes in the .h files or whatever to make it work. Further phone calls to my "tech support" (I'm keepin' the quotes, and if you're reading this, I ain't apologizing) only got me the flat statement that uqwk 1.8 won't work with BSDI 2.1 THIS SEEMS UNLIKELY So (finally) COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME A CLUE AS TO HOW TO PROCEED? I WANT TO USE MY OFFLINE READER AGAIN. Am I really SOL, or is tech support just unwilling, for whatever reason, to do the uqwk mods to make it work with bsdi 2.1? thanks
