Using some slightly modified patches from the most recent Nomad releases I've got a patched if_ep.c that works with either AUI/BNC ports on both a 3C589B and a 3C589C. However, the patches need to be tested to make sure they don't break the existing 3C5X9 non-laptop users, so until I get some feedback from my testers they won't be committed. Hopefully it'll get committed to -current in the next week where you folks can grab it and try it out.
