I will be getting a Vax Station II very soon and would like to have a
unix running for it shortly after. There are many questions I have
for this and I haven't seen them in this group (been reading for a
long time). So here they are:

What BSD Unixes are available for the VAX? How about mach?

What are the system requirements? This machine will have a 90 meg HD
and 8 megs RAM.

Obviously the VMS system, which is on it now, and a unix system will
not fit on the drive at the same time. So, is it possible to load
this unix system from the tape drive?

What software is available for whatever unix that is available? Some
things I'd like to get include GNU utilities (especially emacs and gcc
2.0), X windows and SL/IP...

Where can I get more information on any of the above? Ftp sites?

Thanks in advance,
-dennis
