Maybe you should go another way:
For a semi-professional project I recently developed a small interface
that can be connected to a standard V.24 interface and converts BDM to
a (propriate) serial V.24 interface protocol. It works with baud rates
from 1200Baud to 38400 baud. A friend of mine did the software stuff,
adapting GDB (currently 4.13, update in progress) to this interface.
He is running GDB on a FreeBSD system, I am running the same port on a
Linux i386 system without problems.

If you are interested in this solution, please contact me
(td@imd.m.isar.de) or Peer Stritzinger (peer@strizinger.m.isar.de) for
more information.

By the way: We also have prototyping boards for the MC68332 and (in
the near future) another type with the MC68EN360.

Bye,
		Thomas.
