The stock compiler works great but doesn't come with some of the things I need (working objc, C++ STL, etc.) Also, when gcc changes, I would like to be there too. Ok, so why don't I get it and compile it? True. However, how many people should have to compile gcc. Why remanufacture the wheel when you need it? I think a good-stable gcc package would be a boon to the freebsd community. Currently, there isn't a complete package that has a good gcc, libg++, includes necessary, objc, STL (that I know of, I got my CD ~Feb.) If you think this would be a good idea, please send a followup. Let's see if this is a shared need. Thanks for your time. Dru
