Secondly, go out and buy yourself a 3c595 PCI Fast ethernet card for it, it works just great with Compaq, and BSDI works good with it too (Except for that stupid ef0: Bad Hardware revision, Data corruption Likely, which is a bug really. It was ment to tell you if the 3c590 you have had a bad chipset, but with all later 3com cards, BSDI likes displaying this message anyway.. There is a patch). One thing you REALLY have to watch out for is PnP. Make sure the Prosignia your getting doesnt have PnP, as it can cause many problems. Other than that, it should work fine. Lance
