I'm experiencing rather frequent panics(1-2 per day), but I can never
see any panic messages as I'm running X. There is also no trace of
panic messages in /var/log/messages. Instead the machine simply
reboots and I have no clue to what caused it.
Is there any way of getting the messages saved to a file? Or perhaps
better, when a panic occurs, get the messages on the screen? On suns
the messeges simply trash the X display, but it is at least possible to
read them.
