Message-ID: <1992Oct27.174049.10487@news.ysu.edu> Sender: news@news.ysu.edu (Usenet News Admin) Nntp-Posting-Host: yfn.ysu.edu Organization: Youngstown State University/Youngstown Free-Net Date: Tue, 27 Oct 1992 17:40:49 GMT Lines: 20 I finally got all of the files onto 386bsd and they all untarred and stuff fine, but now my problems are starting. I tried to run x386install and I got an error saying (right bracket): file not found (Sorry, silly IBM doesn't include brackets in their EBCDIC) I don't know what is causing this, so I tried to install the generic 386bsd X Kernel from agate, as I do not have to room to recompile the core. When I rebooted I got a message saying 386bsd not in executable format and the system would not load, I had to use the fixit floppy to get it loaded again. Can someone please give me a hand as none of these errors are making sense.
