Actually, I find that the most useful user feedback you can get regarding design decisions comes from new users. Most formal usability testing in industry is done with "certified virgins" to get exactly that kind of information. On the other hand, Peter is correct, and no amount of whining will change that fact; as much as some of us enjoy the rare occasions where we get to rib him, this isn't one of them. 8-).
