Having installed and managed both on different sites, I would pick Cnews if the original poster's users are all going to log into the FreeBSD server and read news on it. If however one needs to use clients that read via NNTP then INN is probably easier to manage since it's only one package vs. Cnews + NNTP. Raju -- Raju M.
