Hi all,
I am a newcomer of FreeBSD and wish to install FreeBSD into my
second EIDE HD but I failed.
My system is P133, one 1.2G Fireball and one 1.2G Conner. Both of
them are connnected as master, i.e. one at ide1 and other at ide2. The former
is partition into 3 which installed win95 and dos. And the later one is
partition with 800M FAT, 400M is retained for FreeBSD.
I use rawrite.exe to image a boot floppy and also has already save the
required files into my 'first partition' of my conner HD. I followed all the
novice step and all the files is copied to my FBSD partition. I can also add
users and change the root's passwd from the menu. Then it asked me to reboot,
I followed. But I can't boot into any OS. I can only see an message 'Press any
key to reboot'. It seems has unactived my HD that I can't boot from my
Fireball.
Then I tried to install the boot manager. Oh! now I can boot from the FBSD
partition. But after a minute, it told me that it can't find my /root.
what's wrong I has done? How can I fix it without reinstall the FBSD?
Also how can I make a boot disk for FreeBSD that I can both from floppy rather
from my HD or Boot Manager?
I have tried several time and seems no problem until I reboot.

ps. I have also image the root.flp, what use is it?
