I was wondering if any of you might know why I get the following error after booting- "Bootstraping the Pmap System... Failure in BSD Boot. Nextpa=0x118000, high[0] = 0x100000 You're hosed! Try booting with 32 bit mode enabled... [suggestion about mode32 and older macs deleted] panic! Can't use current memory mapping." I have 4 Megs of Ram, System 7.01 if I enable 32 bit addressing the machine doesn't even get past checking the video before crashing! "No internal video at address 0 -- videoaddr is 0xfee09a80" And just hangs. Without 32 bit enabled, it gets much farther in the boot process, and I understand that NetBSD/Mac can run on SE/30's so I don't think that having a Black and White display could be the problem. What do you think? Thanks *************************************** * Warning! The opinions expressed are * * channeled through my dog.
