Hi,

two things come into my mind:

First: You might have an IRQ Problem...
	2nd : Get the mgetty+sendfax package. I got dial-in access
to one of the FreeBSD machines I have to look for
	       in 30 minutes.
Just compile mgetty, do an entry in /etc/ttys and
	       you are up and running.

mgetty+sendfax is in the ports collection.

Regards, Stephan
