What's on the screen and how long did it take to get there? What version of FreeBSD are you trying to install? (2.1R, -stable, -current, or some other)? One thing you might try: disable the cache and see what happens. You may have to adjust the cache timing to run FreeBSD. I hope this helps! Ken
