This is my first attempt at installing 386bsd-0.1, so I'm having
problems *AND* posting to the news group (whatta novice).

I've got an (old) AT&T 6386, maybe 20 MHz, a 135 M HD (type ??),
8 Megs of RAM, and a standard vanilla VGA.

The dist.fs floppy works, and I can actually get the Tiny 386BSD
installed on the hard disk. I copied over the bin01 files via floppy,
and fired up 'extract bin01'

It goes on for a bit, and then I get the message:

	NMI port 61 70, port 70 ff
	Bus error - core dumped
	Memory fault - core dumped

and then back to the prompt. It looks like it got to about the /usr
directory before bombing (comparing with filesystem on
agate.berkeley.edu).

I tried extract bin01 again, which then informed me that two files
were corrupt. I tried to remove them to recopy, and then panic, and
reboot, after which I was left high and dry.

I reinstalled Tiny 386BSD, but thought I'd ask before attempting again.

Any help greatly appreciated.
