I've compiled a large software package under FreeBSD2.1.0 and get no warnings while compiling, but the link stage fails with massive symbol_already_defined errors. Our application uses gcc2.7.2,libg++2.7.1, and gas2.6. In order to try to get our app to link I installed gnu ld via binutils 2.6. Now it says: /usr/lib/crt0.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized Anyone have any experience compiling apps with extensive templates and have this problem? Small single module programs using templates compile fine. ? Thanks. -- *************************************************** Mark Swanson Phone: 613-580-7250 BCSI fax: 613-580-7250 502-85 Range Rd. http://www.bugless.com Ottawa, Ontario, Canada email: mark@bugless.com K1N 8J6 I will take freedom over government-compelled responsibility in almost all cases, any time. ***************************************************
