Date: 30 Oct 92 01:37:33 GMT Organization: The University of Westrn Australia Lines: 21 Distribution: world Message-ID: <jeremy.720409053@scorpion.ac.cowan.edu.au> Reply-To: j.laidman@cowan.edu.au (Jeremy Laidman) NNTP-Posting-Host: scorpion.ac.cowan.edu.au I've posted this before but got no respones. I seem to be able to get most things working with 386BSD, but not NFS. I've applied all relevant patches and rebuilt the kernel. When I try to mount I get Program Not Registered. When I try to export, the other host gets Invalid Parameter or similar when it tries to mount. It seems to be establishing the connection as if I mount a non-exported filesystem I get Permission Denied in both cases. I _need_ to get NFS going to provide me with a means of backing up. I hope someone can help.
