Well, apsfilter supports PS and non PS printer, non PS capable printers
will act like PS printers via gs.

For people having a PS printer it still does the nice task, to 
print and autoconvert many popular filetypes. Look at this command
line:

	lpr ascii.gz textext.dvi.Z photo.tiff cow.jpg.gz \
		test.gif drawing.xfig

Apsfilter doesn't use any tmp files, it even allows you to
print compressed or gnu zipped files directly.

I think it's for you still a good functionality ?! ;-)
