I dont think the dictionary is public domain:  The server wouldnt do 
you much good without it...

To show the utter absurtity of this, it is technically a violation
of the dictionary copyright to run a daemon that allows unrestricted 
access to the daemon (*sigh*).  Someone i know from indiana uni.
said that next threated action against the school if they didnt shut down
webster.cs.indiana.edu to outside access, which they did.. *sigh*.

Of course, if you do know of a webster server that is open to global access,
it is not advisable to advertise it, lest it go away quickly...
