This not the way to start |a new and open OS and find friends for it. This starts with your agressive |postings, goes over to your domain name ("The OS", hell, nice word game) |and ends in a daemon picture not worth the bandwidth. OpenBSD seems to |be agressive instead of cooperative, please try to disprove me. [...] You know, up until now, I had really wanted to stay out of this whole thing... But this is just getting too ludicrous. First of all, I think dragging this whole thing around the newgroups is less-than-cool... In fact, it's downright un-professional. Second, the accusations above are downright childish, malicious and just plain nasty. Have you ever considered that "theos.com" might have come about as nothing more than "this is theos domain"??? Reading more than that into it is a sign of (a) too much spare time on your hands, (b) malicious intent, or (c) a blatant disregard for the sorts of things that started this whole conflagration in the first place. Either way, it contributes nothing to the discussion and raises the heat level (which IMNSHO is already *way* too high...) Finally, on the claim of OpenBSD being "aggressive instead of cooperative" I'd like to know just where in that range you think your message falls, especially given the fact that you're now reaching at straws and attacking Theo/OpenBSD for such non-items as the graphics on their web site. If you feel the need, flame away... (but do it in emai if you must) --rafal PS: SInce the claim has been made before that this whole flamewar has been conducted by people doing other people's dirty work, this mail message has been 100% my personal opinion. Since it seems unlikely that any of this will ever get resolved, my only interest is keeping it from getting to a point where we have *BSD factions and their users/developers pissing on/buggering each other in public. Honestly, I'd rather have everyone involved decide they hate each other's guts and move on with life than this constant sniping :-/
