I am sorry I have been such a pain about this X thing, but it is really getting on my nerves. But anyway... Here is this hours problem. I have the Xkernel in place and all, configured Xconfig for my SpeedStar video card and monitor, and typed xinit. It gave me a list of configured drivers, put the screen into a graphics mode (I was happy) and then dumped me back out saying: XIO: Fatal Error 32 :Broken Pipe and went on about a server crash or Kill in progress or something like that. Well, I have no clue what it is rambling about. Can some of you people that have been very nice and patient with me give me a hand. Thanks. -Dan -- -Dan Newcombe Internet Address: STDN@VM.MARIST.EDU Youngstown Freenet: ae007@yfn.ysu.edu GOAL: To put the world on 3.5" diskettes... :)
