I am able to queue up a send but the process never gets run, and if I start uucico manually, it starts up, but dies after a second or two. Here's my files. I essentially edited them from the provided /etc/uucp files in the /etc/uucp directory. ----- /etc/uucp/config ------ nodename Belvedere unknown commands #files may be transferred to me in unknown pubdir /var/spool/uucppublic #only send from pubdir (the default) unknown remote-send ~ !~/rec unknown remote-receive ~/rec ---- /etc/uucp/port ----- port port1 type modem carrier true device /dev/com2 speed 2400 dialer hayes ---- /etc/uucp/dial ---- dialer hayes chat "" AT\r\c OK \dATDT\D\r\c CONNECT chat-fail BUSY chat-fail NO\sCARRIER complete \d\d+++\d\dATH\r\c abort \d\d+++\d\dATH\r\c ---- /etc/uucp/sys ---- system szebra chat "" \r\c gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin: \d\d\d\L assword: \d\d\P call-login uucp call-password nuucp time Any phone 7391520 port port1 system hip-hop chat "" \r\c gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin: \d\d\d\L assword: \d\d\P call-login nuucp call-password time Any phone 7730768 port port1 ---- /etc/uucp/sys.remote ---- system szebra chat "" \r\c gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin: \d\d\d\L assword: \d\d\P call-login uucp call-password nuucp time Any phone 7391520 port port1 system hip-hop chat "" \r\c gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin:-BREAK-gin: \d\d\d\L assword: \d\d\P call-login nuucp call-password time Any phone 7730768 port port1 ------------------ I'm trying to send to hip-hop. -- David Fox (bbs.barfeau@tsoft.sf-bay.org)
