I have just received your "accelerated X, MWM v1.1 for BSDI BSD/OS" under FreeBSD 2.0.5. As there was no "installfloppy" utility provided, I ran "/a/scripts/install". This appeared to run correctly and installed an ".xinitrc" in my home directory. However when I ran "startx", I received the following messages: XFree86 Version 3.1.1 / X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6000) Operating System: FreeBSD 2.0 Configured drivers: S3: accelerated server for S3 graphics adaptors (Patchlevel 2) mmio_928, s3_generic Using syscons driver with X support (version 2.0) (using VT number 4) XF86Config: /etc/XF86Config (**) stands for supplied, (--) stands for probed/default values (**) Mouse: type: Microsoft, device: /dev/mouse, baudrate: 1200, 3 button emulation (**) S3: Graphics device ID: "ATC-2125" (**) S3: Monitor ID: "AcerView 76i" (--) S3: Mode "1280x1024" needs hsync freq of 78.86 kHz. After browsing your web page again yesterday, I noticed that I have the BSDI version but I specifically requested the FreeBSD version? Are they the same or do I now have the wrong version? If so, how can I get the correct version? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Simon.
