I am running BSDI 2.0 w/ patches, the latest XFree86 binaries from ftp.bsdi.com, and I am having trouble getting my #9 Motion 331 PCI card (2mb) to give me a coherent X Windows session. I have an OPtiquest 2000DX monitor, so it should handle 800x600x65k without a problem. I upgraded my system from a 486DX2/66 Eisa to a Pentium 133 PCI/Eisa, and had to replace the VL-bus video card I previously had. When I use the XF86_S3 driver, I get a message that the S3 chip is unknown. I think it is an S3 Trio64+. Has anyone configured XFree86 for this card? TIA, any help appreciated!
