I am editing the named.boot file and resolv.conf file I have a machine on the same network that has no problems at all with DNS copying the files across does not work at all even though there does not seem to be any machine specific entries in them . any suggestions on what files I should be looking at and what I should do with them. I have rfc 1033 - 1035 but I am frankly terrified of embarking on that reading journy some 130 a4 pages regards Philip Huskisson Pratt Industries
