Message-ID: <1992Oct31.091829.23637@tamsun.tamu.edu> Organization: Texas A&M University, College Station Date: Sat, 31 Oct 1992 09:18:29 GMT Lines: 11 scenario: i have a compaq notebook. i would like to have a look at 386bsd; however, i have not found a boot image that will boot this damn machine (until recently)! i ran across the fixit disk that is "specialized" for compaqs, and it works, but the root image for compaqs does not work (enough hint?) is it possible/feasible for me to do a bindist install via the fixit disk? if so, and someone lend me a hand? much appreciated! -dave dmq6899@tamsun.tamu.edu
