 Hi there,

 I have a problem with 386bsd. I can't login as "root" after a system
crash. The system requests after rebooting a root password! Usually i don't
need a password to login as root. I've tried anything but I still can't get
 in. Any ideas ?
Can i use the "fixdisk" to recover the system ? If yes, how can i do that ?
Is a new installation the unique solution ? I hope not ! :(

 Thanks in advance,
 Lam.
