I finally got around to trying out FreeBSD, and I really like it (I had
thought that Linux was pretty good stuff, but, if my initial impressions are
anything to go by, FreeBSD is even better).

I have found one minor annoyance, though - the console beep. Presumably
there's a way to change this (perhaps by fooling around with the kernel
sources?), but before I do anything really silly, I'd like to know if
there's a "correct" way to fix this (ideally, I'd like to replace it with
either a visual cue, or by dumping something to /dev/audio).

Any pointers gratefully received.

Matt
