After a crash that set my whole root directory to file length 0
I reinstalled the whole system and X. (*UGH*) This time I
only made the changes to the Xconfig needed (Fontpath and
Mouse stuff) I then ran xinit and up popped X. I have my
lovely X cursor and a box that has my system prompy Moria #
in it (prompt that is). The only problem is that I can't
do anything. After the hard drive whirls for a bit everything
stops. Has anyone else had this problem. The only place that
I think something may be wrong is my mouse statment. I changed
it from the default Logitech setting to
Microsoft /dev/com2

  Thanks...
  -Dan
