Running /stand/sysinstall and selecting media type CDROM keep getting the error "No CDROM device found" I have a SCSI CDROM that is mounted and that I can access, is there a file or something that need to be set so that sysinstall can find the CDROM? 2. With Xfree86 it specifies that to check a tty port type "cat < /dev/tty00" and you should see some output to screen. I have both sio and the kernel see them on boot up time. sio0 at 0x3f8-0x3ff irq 4 on isa sio0: type 16550A sio1 at 0x2f8-0x2ff irq 3 on isa sio1: type 16550A sio2 not found at 0x3e8 sio3 not found at 0x2e8 I have tried making the device MAKEDEV tty00 but nothing happens. I thought that I read somewhere that FreeBSD doesn't use tty00 but uses ttyd0, tried that device and didn't get any output. went into sysinstall and set serial mouse to COM1 so that I have /dev/mouse link to /dev/cuaaa ??? and tried that device with no luck. I have tried 2 different LOGITECH moused that work fine on my pc. Any help on either of these 2 questions would be greatly apprieciated Pat
