Right now, I'm using kermit to log in campus network. While
reading this newsgroup, I wonder if there exists any other
packages that are better than Kermit. So, here are my
problems:

1. What UUCP can do for me except for U-U copy?
2. There is a package for PC called UWPC. It let you login from
PC to Unix thru modem and allows multiple sessions (up to 7,
I believe) in Unix site. Is there anything similar for 386bsd?
3. To login remote Unix from home (386bsd), what's the best comm package
you think? Will a 9600 modem be much better than 2400 except
for the increase in speed? Is SLIP or remote mount possible?

Thanks!
